Exceptional
Great location Clean and comfortable rooms, despite the small size of the room it was comfortable, convenient location of sockets on both sides of the bed. The light could be adjusted (morning, day and night) At night in the toilet the light is dim, which is very convenient! On the seventh floor there is a spa and a gym. The spa has three saunas, a jacuzzi, a pool with cold water and a pool with warm water. Breakfasts amazed with a very rich choice. There is a bar with very nice staff, a variety of drinks, a free pool table and board games. There are cozy places to work at the reception. From the sixth floor you can go up to the roof terrace, where from Friday to Sunday a DJ plays and drinks are served for an additional fee, you can relax with friends and watch the sunset. We would be happy to come back again!
I expected that I would be able to swim in a large pool, but it turned out to be waist-deep(

Would definitely return ,well am in January
2nd visit both times stayed for tenpin bowling tournaments ,close to the bowl and staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble
Breakfast is a bit chaotic ,and my daughter gets overwhelmed with hustle and bustle ,so didn’t come down

What would you highlight about VALO Hotel & Work Helsinki
Unbelievable quality hotel and rooftop spa for the price.
I missed the breakfast, but my brother who stayed here a week later (at my recommendation) said it was excellent. The rooms were nice. Well designed, comfortable, clean. Where this place truly stands out is the rooftop spa. There are two saunas on the roof terrace, where you can sit and have an amazing view across the city. The sunset during the first night of my stay was just incredible. There's also a jacuzzi (this could be warmer) and cold plunge, all outside. And a nice pool inside. Combined with the rooftop location, it's one of the nicest hotel spas I've ever used, which is just incredible when you're paying €100/night (spa included). They also let me play their nice Yamaha piano in the lobby and gave me a free drink for it. Just lovely service. Lastly, they have a taxi button, so if you need a taxi anywhere urgently (which I did), you'll have a taxi waiting for you within 2 minutes at any time day or night.

Affordable and modern hotel with beautiful spa area
Spa area is great, there are many saunas, outdoor jacuzzi and even a cold pool! Breakfast has a lot of varieties! My favorites include brie cheese, blueberry juice, Karelian pastries and a selection of different hot foods! We booked the cheapest standard room and even that one had two sinks which was very convenient! Room was clean and towels replaced every day. Would definitely stay again!
Hotel is overcrowded, had to queue to every pool the spa area, and to get any food or drinks at breakfast :( While I was queueing for coffee, my breakfast table was already cleaned and my food was taken away, so I had to queue for food again... Not very environmentally friendly to throw foods away like that! Outdoor jacuzzi was not in use in the morning.
